Hi there!
I’m Aliya, the founder of The Artitech.
By day, you’ll usually find me on a construction site surrounded by drawings, finishes, materials and a million little details. I’ve always loved seeing how all those little pieces come together and completely change the way a space feels. And when I’m not doing that, I’m usually making something.
The Artitech began as a little creative outlet for that side of me. Somewhere I could slow down, play around with ideas and just create.
Somewhere along the way though, it became much more personal. I started wanting to make things that meant something. Pieces connected to a memory, a milestone, someone you love or even just that little corner of your space you want to feel a bit more like you. I think that’s what I love most about creating. The things we choose to keep around us can be beautiful of course, but I also think they should have a reason for being there. Something personal. Something worth keeping.
So that’s The Artitech really. A mix of everything I love: spaces, materials, creating with my hands and turning little ideas into pieces that feel like they belong.
