These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through The Artitech website and to your use of our website.

By placing an order with The Artitech, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

About The Artitech

The Artitech is a Canadian design and product business creating personalized, decorative, and made-to-order pieces.

Throughout these Terms, "The Artitech," "we," "us," and "our" refer to The Artitech.

Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products shown in your order.

Orders are subject to acceptance by The Artitech.

After your order is submitted, you will receive an order confirmation using the email address provided at checkout.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:

• Product or material unavailability
• Incorrect pricing or product information
• Payment issues
• Suspected fraudulent activity
• An inability to complete the requested personalization
• An error affecting the order or website

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colours, materials, and other information shown on our website are accurate.

Because many of our products involve natural materials, fabrication, engraving, printing, painting, or other production processes, minor variations may occur from one piece to another.

Natural wood may vary in grain, colour, knots, texture, and appearance. Acrylic, painted surfaces, engraved finishes, and other materials may also show minor variations depending on the material and production process.

These natural or production-related variations are not considered defects where they do not materially affect the intended use or overall design of the product.

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting, photography, and device settings.

Personalization and Custom Orders

Many of our products can be personalized with names, wording, dates, colours, designs, or other customer-selected details.

You are responsible for reviewing all personalization information carefully before submitting your order.

This includes checking:

• Names and spelling
• Dates
• Wording
• Capitalization
• Numbers
• Personal messages
• Other customization details you provide

We produce personalized items based on the information submitted with your order.

The Artitech is not responsible for errors contained in personalization information supplied or approved by the customer.

If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the change if production has not begun, but changes cannot be guaranteed.

Once production of a personalized or custom item has started, the order generally cannot be changed or cancelled.

Proofs and Approvals

For certain custom products, we may provide a digital proof or design for your approval before production.

Where approval is requested, you are responsible for reviewing the proof carefully, including spelling, wording, layout, dates, and other personalized details.

Once you approve a proof, production may begin based on that approval.

Changes requested after approval may not be possible and may result in additional charges if work has already begun.

Minor differences between a digital proof and the finished physical product may occur due to materials, fabrication processes, screen display, scale, or colour reproduction.

Production Times

Production times vary depending on the product, level of personalization, order volume, and availability of materials.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, please allow approximately 1–2 weeks for production before shipping.

Production time is separate from shipping time.

Any production timeframe provided is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date unless we have specifically agreed to a guaranteed date in writing.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you.

If you require an item by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm whether the requested timeframe is possible.

Pricing

Unless otherwise stated, prices on our website are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other amounts will be shown during checkout where required.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that our pricing is accurate. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the affected order and issue a refund.

Prices may change from time to time without notice. Changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted, except where there has been an obvious pricing error.

Payment

Online payments are processed through Stripe.

Payment is generally collected when your order is placed.

The Artitech does not store your full credit or debit card number on our servers.

Your card issuer or financial institution may apply currency conversion, foreign transaction, or other fees. These fees are determined by your financial institution and are not charged by The Artitech.

For certain custom or invoiced orders, payment may also be accepted by Interac e-Transfer using the payment instructions provided on your invoice. Interac e-Transfers are initiated through your financial institution and are not processed by Stripe.

Shipping

Standard shipping through our website is currently available to addresses within Canada and the United States.

For shipping to destinations outside Canada and the United States, please contact us directly before placing your order so we can confirm availability and applicable shipping costs.

Production time and shipping time are separate.

Shipping rates and available delivery options are shown during checkout where applicable.

Any shipping or delivery timeframe provided is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.

Once an order has been shipped, delivery timelines may be affected by carrier operations, weather, customs processing, service interruptions, peak shipping periods, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for additional information regarding shipping, customs, delivery issues, cancellations, final-sale items, and refunds.

Shipping Information

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing your order.

Please review your address carefully before completing checkout.

If you notice an error in your shipping information, contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has been shipped.

Additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer may be the customer's responsibility where permitted by law.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

All sales are final unless otherwise stated.

Personalized, custom, and made-to-order products cannot be returned or exchanged due to a change of mind.

Orders that have not yet entered production may be eligible for cancellation. Once production has begun, cancellation may no longer be possible.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for additional information regarding cancellations, damaged orders, lost shipments, and refunds.

Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation, refund, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content on The Artitech website is owned by or licensed to The Artitech.

This includes, where applicable:

• Product designs
• Original artwork
• Graphics
• Photography
• Product photographs
• Written content
• Website content
• Branding
• Logos
• Layouts and visual materials

You may view and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, sell, commercially use, or create derivative works from our original content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Purchasing one of our products does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights relating to the underlying design, artwork, or content.

Customer-Provided Content

If you provide us with names, photographs, logos, artwork, wording, graphics, or other materials for use in a custom order, you confirm that you have the right or permission to provide and use those materials for that purpose.

You are responsible for ensuring that customer-provided material does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of another person or organization.

We reserve the right to decline custom content that we reasonably believe may infringe another party's rights or that we otherwise do not wish to reproduce.

Website Use

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not knowingly:
